As AI-powered tools continue to evolve at a rapid pace, they are not only changing what can be produced, but also fundamentally transforming how projects are developed, planned, and executed. This session brings together two complementary perspectives on how generative AI is reshaping production processes in development, VFX, and post-production.
The session kicks off with a keynote by Max Barkman (255pix), who offers practical insights into how AI is transforming production pipelines from initial concept to final delivery. Moving beyond traditional structures, the focus is shifting toward more fluid, iterative processes: early visualization, continuous testing, and a stronger emphasis on a clear creative vision.
This is reflected in the remarks by Pandora da Cunha Telles, creator and showrunner of the Portuguese series LA MARQUISE, who explains how generative AI has influenced both the visual approach and the overall development of the project. From the development of a visual language in the early stages to a more image-driven narrative, this example demonstrates how AI opens up new creative possibilities while simultaneously requiring new ways of thinking, forms of collaboration, and production structures.
