Maria Eiriz studied at the The Lisbon Theatre and Film School (ESTC) in Lisbon, graduating with a degree in Film Editing. She worked as a wardrobe assistant and data wrangler early on in her career but soon turned to editing, and has been working since 2020 as an assistant editor and post-production assistant on various Portuguese series and films.

More recently, she coordinated the post-production of the second and third seasons of the series TURN OF THE TIDE (Netflix TOP10 in 30 plus countries) and is currently supervising the post-production and editing the series THE MARQUISE (Berlinale Series Market Selects 2026).
