Kai Steinmetz is a Hamburg-based producer and founder of Flappers Film. His work focuses on innovative, visually distinctive storytelling at the intersection of film, television, virtual production, and AI-driven creative workflows. He produced The Social Experiment, regarded as one of the first German virtual production projects, as well as the award-winning ZDF series WTF is Jule, recipient of the Blauer Panther 2025. With a strong focus on contemporary formats and emerging production technologies, Steinmetz continues to explore new approaches to cinematic storytelling and next-generation content production. He is currently in pre-production on his new innovative feature film for cinemas, A LITTLE DREAM OF ME.
