While graduating from the University of Media in Stuttgart, Daniel Lwowski started to focus on film, computer animation and multivision. Since 1999 he has worked as a freelance director for several production companies, directing commercials, music videos and documentary projects.

He has collaborated with international artists such as *NSYNC, Anne Clark, Wyclef Jean and Patrick Dempsey, as well as German icons including Herbert Grönemeyer and Die Fantastischen Vier. His work has been honoured with the German Music Awards Echo and the Comet. In 2019, his segment of the international anthology feature film BERLIN, I LOVE YOU was released worldwide.

Since 2025, Daniel has served as AI Advisor at UFA, Germany's largest film and television production company (a Fremantle/RTL Group subsidiary). He leads UFA's AI initiative across all divisions, working directly with the CEO on strategy and implementation.

His work covers AI-assisted production workflows and generative media tools, organizational AI transformation and policy frameworks, development of production pipelines, including a microdrama model for UFA Serial Drama and AI literacy training for 100+ employees across multiple UFA divisions.

Furthermore, Daniel hosts a German-language AI podcast, producing episodes with guests from advertising, film and the wider AI industry — exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence and creative work and he teaches at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in the "Creative Series Producing" specialization.
