Felix von Rautenberg is a documentary producer and director at Doclights GmbH. As a historian, he develops and produces nonfiction series and documentary specials for German public broadcasters including ZDF, ZDFinfo, 3sat, NDR, SWR and MDR. As a director, his work has aired on ZDF and ZDFinfo. His work spans long-form investigative documentaries such as ARD's true-crime series FINDET FELIX, for which he built a dedicated database to systematically work through more than 15,000 archival files, alongside ongoing development for ZDFinfo's documentary catalogue. A self-taught AI practitioner, he focuses on the use of web-based agents in early-stage research, format development and editorial workflow — with a particular interest in their risks, blind spots and the line between tool and craft.
